How we see the problem
The fresh produce market in Africa is estimated at xxxx and 70% of the population depends on Agriculture as the primary source of income. Most farmers face familiar challenges like sub-optimal yields, food losses and unfair market returns. After harvest up to a fifth of the produce is lost on account of inefficiency in the distribution as well as unfair prices due to layers of middlemen in the supply chain.
